🚀The Satbayev University Racing Team is preparing to participate in the first Shell Eco-marathon in the Middle East, which will be held at the Lusail International Circuit in Doha. Their goal is to enter the top 5 best teams in Asia and set a new standard for energy efficiency!
🔋The main achievement is its own electric motor
This year, the team has made a real breakthrough by developing its own electric motor for the new TOQ Prototype 4.0 car. Thanks to this innovative solution, students expect to travel 500-600 km on 1 kW of energy, which is an outstanding indicator of efficiency.
👨💻 A technology-driven student initiative
The project leader was Alibek Ibraim, the captain and founder of the team.
"We strive to ensure that our developments are applied in real life, helping to make the world cleaner and more efficient," he said. – "At the same time, the team consists entirely of students, I act as a mentor and supervisor of the team. And I believe that they will cope with this task! Thank you to everyone who supports us on this path!"
💡Altair Engineering support is the key to success
Altair Engineering, a global leader in modeling, optimization, and artificial intelligence, is a permanent technology partner of Shell Eco-marathon. The company provides participants with the most advanced digital design tools that help them create ultra-energy efficient cars, test their behavior in a virtual environment, and find the best engineering solutions.
In Central Asia, Altair Engineering's partner is Nano Tech Prom, which actively supports student teams and startups, helping young engineers master advanced technologies and implement innovative ideas.
🌍Shell Eco-marathon is a challenge for the best minds
Shell Eco-marathon is one of the world's leading student energy efficiency programs. It aims to expand the boundaries of technical capabilities and inspire young people to become the leading scientists and engineers of the future.
"Shell Eco-marathon is an excellent platform for students who are developing concepts for future mobility and working in a competitive but collaborative environment," said Dr. Matthias Goelke, Dr., Senior Director of Business Development for Academic Markets at Altair.
"Altair is really making a difference for students by participating in the Shell Eco-marathon, with its world-class expertise and leading software capabilities in engineering design. Altair allows participants to improve their results and contribute to the development of future scientists and leaders in the field of engineering," added Natalie McDowall, Global Strategic Partnership Manager at Shell Eco-marathon.
🔥 We wish good luck to our team in Qatar!
